Has anyone done this at home? I’m going to try casting tin solder as soon as I can get a microwave-size refractory rig set up.

  1. I did at school, we had a microwave set up that was water cooled. We usually just melted tin but Penn State had one set up and melted Iron in theirs. the iron took about 90 mins though
